BASE60 started as a DBA in 2006 to wrangle Nate Edwards' side hustles in sound design and music composition (supporting customers like ESPN International and Style.com). Over time it evolved to cover more disciplines, all related to bringing inspiring music and tech to more and more people.
Nate Edwards, the founder and principal, brings over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and revenue operations with the world's most respected music and audio retailer and hundreds of world-class manufacturers. BASE60 draws from his direct experience as well as that of his network of colleagues that stand at the ready to serve clients under the BASE60 banner.
The name BASE60 comes from the fire station that Nate spent countless long nights in as a volunteer firefighter and a part-time paid medic. Lots of work got done between runs over the course of long overnight shifts. Since the firehouse was his primary office space, the name was fitting.
